Conference Microphone Systems

These systems can be configured and used in many different ways and often provide a simple solution to an otherwise complicated problem. Below are a few examples of how they can be used.

Conference Microphones (minimum 10) £28 each
These microphones link together with a control unit to provide a single system that essentially runs itself once set up.
Push-to-talk
Using this setup, each user operates their own microphone. The technician is able to dictate how many microphones can be live at any time and if each microphone should deactivate if not in use. The technician can also give override control to the chairman, enabling him to deactivate all other microphones at the touch of a button. As well as providing audio reinforcement, many customers find that these microphones help to keep order during a meeting.
Voice-activated
This setup automatically makes a microphone louder if it is being used. The technician has the same controls as previously described, but the user does not need to press a button. This is often useful in a situation where an event is being recorded.
Wireless Conference Microphones £40 each
These offer the same functionality as the wired system but with considerably less set up time. This is especially true for large system or rooms with more complex layouts. These battery powered units will last all day and a re ideal for interactive discussions in a large room.
