It’s a big wide world and we’re ‘targeting’ an international audience. We want people to be able to watch from anywhere in the world and our technology supports this. Video is streaming across the planet in seconds, reliably and in high quality. So where are the barriers? Well, language is one…
We can now stream in multiple languages. It sounds so simple; on the webcast, just pick the language you want. Well, it is that simple to the end user.
As with any webcast, there is a real life location somewhere. That might be a live event or a TV studio. We use video conferencing to link that to a series of interpreters who can then see and hear the presentation (video and powerpoint) who interpret into the appropriate languages which is then streamed onto the web to be matched up with the original video.
This type of live streaming is useful for situations where you might only be allowed to stream once such as in the pharmaceutical industry. Once chance to get it right and get it out to all the appropriate stakeholders and potential customers.
