Formula E Activation

This project aimed to raise awareness about the melting ice caps by creating an ice sculpture of a Formula E race car, which was live-streamed for 24 hours. The audience was invited to participate by guessing the mass of the melted ice. The live stream had to be uninterrupted and reliable, especially as it was conducted in a public outdoor location.

To ensure success, generators, satellites, batteries, and backup 5G connectivity were utilised, guaranteeing stability throughout the event. Additionally, a dedicated 24-hour support team was on standby to ensure the live stream ran seamlessly, making this activation a resounding success.

Fashion Show

This project involved broadcasting a high-profile fashion show live across social media platforms to over 20 million viewers worldwide, as well as on the client’s websites in multiple locations. With an event of this scale, failure was not an option. To ensure seamless execution, we implemented redundancies for all scenarios, leveraging our expertise with 4G, 5G, and advanced IP solutions, supported by our dedicated offsite studio.

Our solution included providing main and backup encoders for every platform. A 5G bonded connection was used to establish a tertiary backup to our MCR, ensuring we could continue streaming even in the event of site power or internet failure. The result was a flawless live broadcast, delivered without compromise.

With the World Cup approaching, a popular London shopping centre wanted to broadcast live matches on their LED screens, which were originally designed for advertising content and lacked the capability to stream live TV. The challenge was to transform these screens into a platform where customers could watch the games seamlessly.

To solve this, we integrated 4G networks and a media player into the existing system, enabling live streaming of matches. This allowed the shopping centre to provide an engaging experience for visitors during the World Cup and even utilise the setup for future sporting events and competitions.

Multi-lingual broadcast

This project involved live-streaming a regulated pharmaceutical presentation globally in multiple languages, requiring coordination of platforms, advanced technology, and 30+ interpreters. Although simpler today, this was executed 15 years ago, highlighting our ability to innovate under complex conditions.

We utilised multiple telephone lines and IP SIP connections to synchronise presenters in two European locations, an MCR, and interpreters in a separate room. The result was a seamless and reliable multi-lingual live stream.
